Terms and Conditions

The rules for using the site, and how we get from an enquiry on the site to the work itself: the written offer, the contract and payment.

1. Who we are

The site thekingweb.com belongs to Paskuy Zsolt-Ferenc PFA, a Romanian sole trader working under the name The King Web (“we”), registered at Str. Blănarilor nr. 2, ap. 3, 550254 Sibiu, Romania, tax ID (CUI) 48490721, Trade Register no. F32/629/14.07.2023. You can reach us at [email protected] and on +40 757 040 810.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to your use of the site. We provide our services (online stores, repairs, maintenance and custom features) only on the basis of a written offer and a signed contract. If anything in the contract differs from what the site says, the contract applies.

3. Prices and offers

  • The prices on the site are in euro and are final: we're not a VAT payer in Romania, so no VAT is added. For businesses in other EU countries, the reverse charge applies.
  • Published prices are valid on the date they're shown. For your work, the price in the written offer you accept applies.
  • If the site shows an obvious mistake in a price or a description, we correct it before you accept the offer.
  • The only discount is 15% for our first three clients outside Romania who choose a package, on the conditions shown on the site.

4. The offer and the contract

  • The forms on the site are requests for an offer or for information, not orders. No contracts are made and no payments are taken on the site.
  • Work starts once you accept the written offer and we sign the contract, which can also be signed electronically.
  • The analysis for a new store or a custom feature, and the diagnosis of a repair, cost €75 each and are done only with your agreement. They're deducted from the work if we go ahead; for a new store, if you sign within 30 days.
  • Any work beyond the offer, we propose to you with a price and a timeline before we do it.

5. Payment

You pay against an invoice, in the stages set out in the contract:

  • Store packages: a deposit at the start, and the rest after you've checked the work, in the stages set out in the contract.
  • Repairs: the diagnosis, after we send you what we found; the repair, after you've seen it working.
  • Custom features: in the stages set out in the written offer.

Invoices are issued in euro and paid by bank transfer. Each party pays its own bank's charges.

6. Maintenance

Maintenance is paid monthly, according to the plan you choose. You can stop it at any time; it stops at the end of the month you've already paid for. What each plan includes is described on the Tested maintenance page and in the contract.

7. Intellectual property

  • The texts, design, logo and code of this site belong to us or are used under licence. Don't copy them or use them commercially without our written permission.
  • For work done for clients, the rights to the code are transferred by contract.
  • The RotaPneu demo store (anvelope.thekingweb.com) is a demonstration we built, in Romanian. Its products and prices are examples, not real offers.

8. Using the site

Use the site lawfully. Don't try to disrupt how it works or its security, send automated messages through the forms, or copy its content automatically. The details you send us must be genuine.

The site contains links to other sites, for example WordPress.org, Google Maps or social networks. We're not responsible for their content or their rules; we recommend that you read them.

10. Liability

The information on the site is general and for information only. We keep it accurate and up to date, but we're not liable for decisions made only on its basis, without a written offer. Our liability for the services we provide is the one set out in the contract.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited, for example for intentional acts or gross negligence.

11. Personal data and cookies

How we use personal data and cookies is explained in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If a disagreement arises, please write to us first; we'll try to resolve it amicably. If we can't, the dispute will be settled by the competent courts in Sibiu, Romania.

If you're a consumer, you keep all the rights that the law of your country gives you, including the right to go to court where you live. For a dispute with a business in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre in your country can help.

13. Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. For work in progress, the terms in the signed contract apply.
