When Traffic Is Not the Problem — Conversion Is

Having a website that gets visitors but produces no enquiries is one of the most frustrating positions a service business can be in. You are running ads, posting consistently, handing out cards — and people do visit your site. But they leave without contacting you. The problem is almost never the traffic volume; it is a site that was built to look presentable rather than engineered to convert.

The Growth Plan was designed for service businesses, studios, and agencies that have moved past “we need a website” and are now asking “why isn’t this working?” For €999 — paid as €499.50 at project start and €499.50 when the site goes live — you get a complete package: up to 7 pages with semi-custom layouts built around your specific services, advanced SEO including keyword gap analysis against local competitors, 2 custom forms placed at high-intent moments in the page, enhanced security, WordPress with essential plugins pre-configured, and business-grade hosting. Domain registration for the first year is included, and you get 3 months of post-launch support after go-live. Delivery takes 4–8 weeks depending on content readiness and revision speed.

The reason these three elements are always combined: fixing only one in isolation rarely moves the needle. Better design without better SEO means more visitors who still bounce. Better SEO without conversion forms means higher rankings that produce no enquiries. The Growth Plan corrects all three simultaneously because that is the only way conversion rates actually improve — and stay improved.

How the Growth Plan Works

Three phases across 4–8 weeks. The first phase diagnoses. The second phase builds. The third phase measures — so you know the investment worked.

Discovery, Audit, and Keyword Strategy (Weeks 1–2)

Before any design work begins, we audit your existing website and search footprint. This covers: which pages currently have high bounce rates or short dwell times, which keywords your competitors rank for that you do not appear for (the gap analysis), and what the actual search intent is behind the terms that should be driving your enquiries. We map out the conversion path your ideal client follows from their first search to the moment they decide to contact you.

This audit produces a written findings document that informs every layout, SEO, and form decision in Phase 2. Nothing is designed on gut feeling or personal preference — every choice is grounded in data from your specific market.

Why the audit comes first: Clients who skip straight to design and ask “does this look good?” are solving the wrong problem. The Growth Plan solves for conversion — which means understanding why people currently leave without contacting you before building anything new.

Semi-Custom Design and Lead-Form Engineering (Weeks 2–6)

Using the audit findings, we design your page sections — hero, service overview, process steps, social proof, FAQ, and call-to-action panels — as layouts specific to your service offering and the questions your clients actually have at each stage of the decision. This is not theme selection and content replacement; each section is designed around the real content it needs to display.

Lead-capture forms are sized and placed based on where visitors are in their decision process. A short “get a quote” form at the end of a service section captures visitors who already know what they want. A longer scoping form on the contact page handles clients who need to explain a more complex project. Both are tested on mobile before staging review — because in 2025, most service enquiries originate from a phone.v

Technical SEO, Analytics Setup, and Handoff (Weeks 6–8)

With your new design approved on staging, we implement the full SEO layer: corrected URL structure (redirects from old URLs if the site is a redesign), internal linking between related service pages, schema markup for your service types and FAQs, structured data validation, and page speed optimisation. The site is submitted to Google Search Console with the new sitemap.

Before handoff, Google Analytics 4 is configured with named conversion events — form submissions tracked individually by form type, click-to-call tracking, and email link clicks. You receive a live dashboard showing enquiry sources from day one. You will know whether your leads are coming from organic search, direct visits, or referrals — not just that “the site is getting traffic.”

Growth Plan — Frequently Asked Questions

My site gets traffic but nobody contacts me — what specifically does this plan change?

Three things cause this pattern, and the Growth Plan addresses all of them. First, layout: generic templates do not guide visitors toward your contact point; semi-custom layouts are structured around your specific service journey so visitors know exactly what to do next. Second, form placement: most enquiry forms are buried on a dedicated contact page that most visitors never reach; we place contextual short-form CTAs at high-intent moments throughout the site. Third, keyword intent matching: some of your current traffic may be informational searchers rather than service buyers — the keyword mapping in Phase 1 identifies this and corrects the pages driving mismatched traffic.

What does “semi-custom” actually mean — is this just a different theme?

Semi-custom means we design the visible sections of each page — hero panels, service blocks, process timelines, social proof strips, CTA sections — as bespoke layouts that reflect your brand identity and content structure. A standard WordPress theme gives you pre-designed sections you fill in; a semi-custom approach designs the sections around what you need to communicate. Under the hood, a theme framework handles WordPress stability and future updates — but visitors will not recognise the site as a template because no section is used as originally designed.

How does the 50/50 payment split work, and what’s included in the total?

€499.50 is paid at project start. This covers the discovery and audit phase and secures your build slot. The remaining €499.50 is due on the day the site goes live — after you have reviewed the staging version, given your revision feedback, and confirmed you are satisfied. Domain registration and business-grade hosting for the first year are included in the total €999, so there is nothing to set up separately before work begins. You also get 3 months of post-launch support, meaning issues that arise in the first quarter after launch are handled at no extra cost. From year two, domain and hosting renewals become your responsibility — exact amounts confirmed at handoff.

Is ongoing SEO maintenance included, or is this a one-time foundation?

The Growth Plan covers a one-time SEO foundation: technical configuration, keyword mapping, on-page optimisation, internal linking architecture, and schema markup. It does not include monthly activities such as publishing SEO content, building backlinks, or monitoring and adjusting rankings over time. If you want ongoing SEO work after launch, that is a separate monthly arrangement quoted based on your specific goals. The Growth Plan gives you the correctly built structure that makes ongoing SEO work actually effective — starting monthly SEO on a poorly structured site produces much slower results.

How long after launch before I start seeing more leads?

Conversion rate improvements from the new layout and forms are visible from the first week of normal traffic, because more of your existing visitors convert — this does not depend on SEO changes. SEO ranking improvements typically begin showing up 6–12 weeks after Google re-crawls and re-indexes the updated pages. Because we set up GA4 conversion event tracking at handoff, you will have real data on enquiry volume from day one rather than waiting and guessing. Most Growth Plan clients see measurable improvement in their enquiry-to-visitor ratio within the first 30 days.
